Data Visualization and Infographics Resources

Ok I don't want to flood the blog with links, but this was too good to pass up. . .

Smashing Magazine just posted a brand new list of links titled: Data Visualization and Infographics Resources. It may end up coming in handy for our next project, who knows.

Many of them have already been mentioned in class by Trogu or others, but there were quite a few I had not seen before.

Information design definitions (drafts)

A couple of interesting definitions from the first concept map sketches by students:

The process of abstracting relationships between concepts and modeling a system that represents them.
-- Chae Fields

The integration of design concepts to systematically represent and filter information and data in a visually abstract yet organized composition.
-- Miranda Bague
